Help Me Grow Speech was founded by Lindsey Nitake in 2019, with the goal to serve children with speech and language delays by coaching parents on how to work on speech and language at home.

In 2020, HMGS “grew” (yes, pun intended) to become a dynamic duo when she partnered with her friend Leah who wanted to help expand the HMGS brand and bring Lindsey’s vision to life.

What inspired us to embark on this journey together is our shared belief that therapy can be ALL OF THE THINGS…it can be fun, beautiful, quirky, AND backed by science.

We strive to create an empowering and creative space for Speech Therapists and Parents to grow and learn from one another. Our goal is bring creativity, beauty, and fun into the therapy space, creating a holistic environment for everyone.

    “As a certified Speech Language Pathologist, my mission is to teach parents how to connect with their child and support their child’s communication at home. Communication is so much more than words and gestures. It’s a combination of emotions, energy, and intention. When a child is seen and heard, they become confident individuals who are able to connect with those around them. I want this for every child and family I work with.

    I’m a huge believer in Early Intervention. The earlier I can start working with the parent and the child, the better it is for everyone. The child’s progress is faster, maintains for longer, and the bond between parent and child is stronger.”

    “With a background and degree in Occupational Therapy, I understand the value of traditional therapy, but also see the potential of the therapy space to become so much more. My mission is to create a brand that speaks to everyone, from creatives, to fellow therapists, to parents and beyond!”

    Leah is behind all the creative and logistic aspects of the Help Me Grow Speech brand. She manages our website, directs brand aesthetic, as well as designs the graphics and does the in house photography for our brand.
